Bitwise Releases New Ad Hinting at Wider Acceptance of Blockchain

Crypto investment firm Bitwise has released a new ad promoting the growing popularity of blockchain technology and crypto assets.

Asset management firm Bitwise has released a new ad depicting the growing popularity of blockchain technology. In recent years, blockchain and cryptocurrencies have gained wider mainstream acceptance and entered untapped markets. This has led to assets such as Bitcoin reaching all-time highs.

Bitwise Indicators Show Blockchain Adoption Trends

In a June 27 ad, the investment firm depicted two people, one a young user friendly to cryptocurrencies and the other an older man from traditional finance. The traditional financial investor has changed his shirt to a pro-blockchain top, symbolizing the recent shift of centralized companies toward cryptocurrencies. Ironically, some of these companies used to be against crypto assets.

“Big Finance, have you changed… No, I’ve always been like this. Do we want to hang out? Wen Yue Mei En. Do you know what this means? No, I don’t.”

Additionally, Bitwise shows demographics of different age groups entering the Bitcoin market as adoption surges. Rising prices and investment opportunities sparked the craze, but some people are unfamiliar with how the technology works. This year, Bitcoin prices rose to over $73,000 and hit new highs before the market adjusted on a pessimistic outlook.

The ad uses the term “wenyue,” which is popular in crypto circles when users ask about the next bull run. Cryptocurrency investors and meme coin enthusiasts often focus on the next price increase. The phrase became popular in 2017 when BTC prices soared.

Bitcoin ETFs Still Top the List

There is no doubt that the anticipation and success of Bitcoin ETFs has led to an increase in institutional activity in the market. Bitwise and other crypto ETF providers have created a new window for traditional companies to increase their influence in the market. With the increase in capital inflows, many traditional businesses have changed their market strategies.

Several companies have disclosed their ETF exposure over the past month, indicating an increase in trading activity. Similarly, cryptocurrency is now an election issue as U.S. lawmakers have also changed their stance on the issue.
